frēijē Engineered Solutions Company HVAC tech Nick Thacker recently won the Silver Medal at the 2014 Workforce Development Conference and National Craft Championships in Birmingham, AL. Nick was among 166 competitors for 11 crafts representing their various companies at the championships. Nick was sponsored by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana/Kentucky.
Also, a special congratulations to Nick for his win of the NCC Safety Award for HVAC.
Craft trainees and apprentices from across the country travel each year to compete for top honors in their chosen craft. For the competitors, the National Craft Championships allows them to demonstrate their superior skills, training and safe work practices. For the training sponsors, employers and ABC chapters, the NCC demonstrates a staunch commitment to the career path the construction industry offers.
